Description

Piece of garbage

You need two people with six hands each to clean this cage. The dumb connectors get in the way and do not stay up while you do one side, then move to the other side and they fall down. The top does not stay up when you try to get an animal out. The whole thing must have been designed by a toddler that doesn't ever use the thing.

This habitat is much bigger than I thought. It gives my pig plenty of room to run. It was easy to put together. Very sturdy . My pig would not go up the stairs to the deck, maybe when he is bigger. The shipping was super fast.
poor quality

I was not pleased with this cage from the beginning of set up. My two guinea pigs started to chew on the plastic pieces and the clips were also chews on. Now they are working on the platform/ hideaway. The dome corners (plastic pieces) pop off easily. This cage is impressive in photo but not after a few weeks of guinea pig life. I tried to contact Chewy about the issues and it was not convenient to send the cage back before refund without purchasing a spare cage to house them first. I am not happy about needing to purchase an additional new cage after 2 months. I do not recommend this cage!

This cage is spacious and easy to put together. I like the updates to the food bowl and bottom piece. I do not like that they have made the "bedroom" piece an all-in-one piece. The old design had it in two pieces so the side part could be removed if it caused problems with cleaning the bottom (which it definitely does). I opted to just cut the side part off and throw it away. The tall bars allow for multiple shelves to be put on, giving him another level to run around. The two part curved top is great! I have a tunnel hanging from one side and a bridge from the other, giving my chin a third level to play on. The water bottle is not good but I already had one, so no big deal. Unfortunately this item was incredibly difficult to assemble and the materials are cheap. Not worth the high price.
Easy assembly

Only had it for a few hours but happy with decision. I needed a contained cage (keep away from other pets). This is really ideal. Pretty simple to assemble & looks like it will be easy to clean. May eventually look into adding a 2nd level. Also really like that if I want to go on vacay I can easily drop off the lil guys in this.

Got this and was scared by the size but it's perfect size for our 2 guinea pigs and could prob fit 1 or 2 more but we definitely will not have to upgrade bigger and definitely don't have to feel bad for it not being enough room!
Nice item, good deal, poor directions

I really like the space and design of this cage. The shelter I visited had them and I wanted to get the same. I ordered this and it was shipped quickly, thank you, Chewy! The only reason I have not given this 5 stars is because of the directions for assembly; they're very insufficient, but through trial and error the cage is together. It's not Chewy's fault-I wrote the manufacturer and asked that they improve the directions.
